Ed has been developing, designing, and marketing healthcare software and services products for more than 18 years, and understands the vital importance of connecting marketing programs with measurable business results. His experience includes corporate marketing, product management, consulting, and business management in both public and privately held corporations.
As the Managing Director of HIT Brands and Senior Marketing Consultant, Ed oversees business development efforts and day-to-day operations, but continues to focus the majority of his time serving select clients as a senior marketing consultant. Ed works within his passion providing strategic marketing execution services, working with senior managers to resolve complex marketing problems. His expertise includes branding, integrated marketing planning, Web, demand creation, product management, and new venture discovery-driven consulting.
Ed’s broad product and service experience includes back office core administration systems, eHealth portal applications, EDI and business intelligence tools, transaction clearinghouse solutions, security, HIPAA compliance. He has held various healthcare and marketing positions at Reserve Life Insurance, Policy Management Systems, S2 Systems, Dakota Imaging, and Superior Consultant. In 2002, Ed founded Marcom Outsourcing which became M9 Companies — a family of strategic marketing firms that includes Marcom Nine and HIT Brands.
Ed earned a bachelor’s degree in economics from Southern Methodist University and an executive education certificate from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.

Bill Bysinger is our senior product management consultant and advises Healthcare and Healthcare Technology Organizations on Healthcare eCommerce, HIPAA, eHealth Strategies, Health Regulatory compliance, and Product Development Process Methodologies.
Bill is a former Associate Professor of Medical Informatics and Director of eHealth Initiatives at Mercer University’s School of Medicine in Macon, Georgia. He was Vice President of Superior Consultant, an international healthcare consulting company; and a founding member and CEO of infoMedX.com, an eHealth Application Solution Provider (ASP). In 1994 Bill
co-founded and was the Chief Technology Officer of Health Systems Technologies, an enterprise managed care solutions provider for healthcare networks.
Bill published a book “Investing in Information Technology” in 1996 based on models for using technology to create business advantage, and he has published numerous articles on eHealth, HIPAA, and Healthcare Technology in healthcare journals including, Healthleaders, Health Data Management, Advance for Healthcare Executives, and others. In addition Bill has given more than 50 presentations at national association conferences including, HIMSS, AHP, AHIMA, NAHQ, MSHUG, NMHCC, HFMA, and CAWorld.
Bill served on the Board of the Working Group for Electronic Data Interchange (WEDI) from 1997 to 2001, where he was involved with the Department of Health and Human Services in the formulation of the HIPAA Rules. He has been intimately involved with the security, privacy, transaction and code set rules. He is a past member of the HL7, ANSI X.12, and ActiveX for Healthcare standards groups.
Bill holds a BBA and a MBA from the University of Missouri. Bill served as Adjunct Professor of Information Management in the School of Business and Economics at Seattle Pacific University from 1992 to 2000. Bill is currently a Doctoral candidate in Health Administration.
Bill’s intimate knowledge of eHealth, HIPAA, Health Regulatory Compliance, Healthcare Process Improvement and Healthcare Technology give him a unique perspective to assist in strategic planning, tactical delivery, and compliance of the technologies and processes important to healthcare organizations.
