Our History
HIT Brands was established to leverage the deep healthcare software and services experience of our senior consultants, and to fulfill their desire to affect positive change within the healthcare industry. HIT Brands is part of the M9 family of companies that also includes Marcom Nine, a strategic marketing firm providing planning, execution, and outsourcing services to technology and professional services firms across multiple industries. Marcom9 serves the marketing needs of medium and select small businesses, but their client list also includes household names such as Dell, Avnet, EDS, ELK Corp, Southern Methodist University, and the University of Texas at Dallas.
The M9 family of companies got their start when Edwin Jones founded Marcom Outsourcing in 2002. The firm quickly landed several key accounts and in 2004, the firm became part of Landon Design and provided marketing communication and graphic design services under the name Marcom Nine. The relationship with Landon Design remains strong, but Marcom Nine has since returned to its roots as an independent strategic marketing firm, focused on the delivery of innovative marketing services that make a measurable difference to our client’s bottom-line.
